Our Hoosier 2008 High School Superstar Achievers

 

Miss Brittany Cabil

Brittany Renee Cabil is the daughter of Patricia Cabil and Rodney Cabil. Brittany attends Henry W. Grady High School (GHS) in Atlanta. Brittany serves as an alcolyte and is an accomplished dancer. She is also a member of the Beta Club and Social Diversity Club. Brittany is the co-captain of the Varsity Cheerleading Squad and has been a member ofthe football and basketball squads for the past four years. In 2006, Brittany was instrumental in helping the Cheerleading Competition Squad win the 5AA Regional Champ title. Brittany was crowned GHS Miss 12th Grade. Brittany plans to attend Tennessee State University in Nashville TN,majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Psychology. Brittany’s hobbies include reading, skating,dancing, shopping and traveling. 

 

Mr. Milton Tye

Milton Tye is the son of Karen Tye and Milton Tye Sr. He has two brothers, Kelvin and Quintin. Milton regularly participates in Sunday School and serves an as acolyte. Milton attends Benjamin E. Mays High School. He has worked for Atlanta Work force for four years, as well as Esteem Barbershop. Milton plans to attend Atlanta Metropolitan Junior College and then continue his educational pursuits at Georgia State University. His goal is to earn a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. Milton’s hobbies include working on computers, and playing with his brothers. The person that has inspired Milton is his geometry teacher, Mr. Edwards. He always encouraged and impressed on Milton the importance of striving and giving your best effort in everything that you do. 

 

Miss. Brittani Schell

Brittani Schell is the oldest child of David and Kim Schell. She has one brother, David Jr. Brittani. She is graduating from Lithia Spring High, where she participates in the HOSA (Health Occupation of America) and Honors Chorus. Brittani plans to attend the University of West Georgia in the fall and major in Biology. Her career goal is to become a veterinarian. She enjoys bike riding, swimming, creative writing, and playing the violin, guitar, and keyboard. The person that has inspired Brittani the most is her grandmother, Christine Wilson. She is always been patient and caring to everyone and put others’ needs before her own. Her actions are true, genuine, and heartfelt. Mrs. Wilson teaches others to focus on the good in life instead of the bad. Brittani is she is truly thankful for her.
